Day and Evening Food and Beverage Staff


The Saskatoon Club, our city's premiere private members club is seeking experienced servers for day and evening shifts. Ideally you have a minimum of one year of service experience in a restaurant or hotel environment and are comfortable working independently. (if you have the right attitude we'd gladly train you!) We offer an above average starting wage and a guaranteed gratuity as well as benefits including medical and dental. We believe energetic and dedicated work should be rewarded with regular raises, usually within the first 30 to 60 days of employment.

Skills and Abilities

Food and Beverage Serving Skills
 - Advise on menu selections
 - Serve food and beverages, formal or French service
 - Serve food and beverages, general plate service
 - Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
 - Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills
 - Store wines
 - Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware
 - Describe and advise on wine selection
Essential Skills
 - Oral communication
 - Working with others
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
 - Not required
Additional Skills
 - Address customers' complaints or concerns
 - Set tables
 - Replace linen
 - Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
 - Load buspans and trays
 - Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
 - Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
 - Assist customers with special needs
 - Customer service oriented

 - Uniform
