Description

The International Minerals Innovation Institute (IMII) is an industry-government-post-secondary education partnership and non-profit organization based in Saskatoon.  IMII strives to close the gaps between skills development and state-of-the art technologies through advanced education and training, and innovative research and development.

In this senior position reporting to the Executive Director, the Education and Training Program Coordinator must effectively coordinate workflows and deliver on tasks in support of the following areas, in accordance with IMII Strategic Plan:

    The roles and responsibilities relating to Education and Training Programs or Projects coordination and E&T Panel coordination activities.
    The activities related to the (E&T) projects and related IMII public relations activities of the Education and Training (E&T) Panel
    Provide leadership and information to event planning for workshops, seminars, board meetings, and AGM in relation to E&T activities working with the other IMII team members
    Develop presentations, media relations material as required, website updates for E&T related projects and programs for IMII Communication
    Provide assistance to the Executive Director for the pertinent activities related to the Board of Directors and Board Chair

The successful candidate should possess an undergraduate and/or graduate degree/certificate in engineering/science/social sciences/education/commerce/business administration and a minimum of 10 years of work experience, having at least 5 years experience in a senior position and project management would be an asset.
