Description

Now Hiring Construction Miners specializing in either Shaft Steel or Conveyor Systems for the Agrium Vanscoy Ultimate Expansion (VAULT) Project located 40 kilometers outside of Saskatoon, SK.  This project is projected to continue until the end of November 2014.

Responsibilities - Conveyor System Positions:
Safely and efficiently performs all of the activities associated with Underground Construction, including but not limited to, dismantling existing conveyors and belt systems prior to re-installation of new take ups and drives and belt assembly

Responsibilities - Shaft Steel Positions:
Safely and efficiently performs all of the activities associated with Underground Construction, including but not limited to, installing and performing preventative maintenance and overhaul repairs to primary underground installations such as chutes and other loadout facilities, crushers, rockbreakers and ventilation doors, installing and removing ore pass balloons, constructing fill fences, shotcreting, installing vent fences, installing cable bolts, and other ground support, installing services, and competently handling explosives to blast

Requirements for Conveyor System Positions:
Minimum 2-4 years experience in the installation of conveyor and belt systems.

Requirements for Shaft Steel Positions:
Minimum 2-4 years experience in shaft steel construction and maintenance.
Knowledge of loading pocket, shaft steel, demolition, and re-installation such as guides, arrester columns and frames, crash beams is considered is required.

Additional Information:
This position will work a 20 days on, 10 days off rotational schedule.
A living out allowance is provided to non local hires.
Transportation to and from site are provided for non local hires every rotation.
