Description

The Project Administrative Assistant is responsible for greeting visitors, handling incoming calls, parcel pick-ups, filing, recording meeting minutes, reporting and performing general administrative and clerical duties in a courteous and professional mannear.
The Project Administrative Assistant will demonstrate DMC's core values of: Zero Harm to health, safety and the environment, win-win relationships based on shared risk and rewards as well as investing in the growth and development of our people.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Reception duties, including: greeting, directing and answering questions of all visitors, clients and job candidates.
2. Receives, handles and directs incoming calls appropriately. Takes, relays and delivers messages as required.
3. Picks up DMC mail at local post office. Receives, opens, sorts and distributes mail and parcels as required.
4. Assists with shipping and receiving of supplies. Fills cleaning cupplies chart and submits to Buyer for ordering. Receives P.O.'s from Buyer in order to track DMC spending.
5. Handles XEROX functioning, regarding:
    a. Service calls
    b. Ordering ink and parts
6. Auditing invoicing from suppliers
7. Record meeting minutes
8. Provide detailed reporting as requested
9. Takes responsibility for aspects of occupational health and safety, and environmental matters, over which the individual has control, including adherence to all requirements applicable to DMC.
10. Demonstrates commitment to the continued improvement of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment.
11. Such other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- High school Diploma
- Valid driver's licence
-  A minimum of 3 years of experience with similar roles and responsibilities
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft office and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills
