Description

Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Canada, Ltd. (MHPSC) is a major supplier of custom welding, machining, assembly, and field services to the energy industry in Canada and around the world.

Responsibilities:
- Promote a safe working environment
- Responsible for executing Custom Machining projects per contract requirements
- Ensure projects are clearly defined for effective execution on the shop floor
- Provide regular project progress reporting to company and customer
- Responsible for customer single point of contact throughout the duration of the project
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for project execution

Requirements:
- Demonstrated commitment to safety
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 4  8 years of experience in a manufacturing/machining environment
- Ability to communicate and negotiate with internal and external customers and suppliers
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with people in different departments
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and manage projects
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to excel in a team environment
- Solid problem solving skills
