The Town of Kindersley is seeking to fill two (2) Permanent Full-Time Labourer positions for the Recreation Department. These positions will report directly to the Manager of Recreation.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
General physical labour duties, which may include heavy lifting; operation of Town vehicles and equipment, including the zamboni; set up and tear down for events; and other duties as assigned by the Manager of Recreation or acting Department Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Valid Class 5 Drivers License
-Grade 12 or GED diploma
-Good record of physical fitness
-Ability to work with and respect to fellow workers, management, Council and the general public
-Ice maintenance knowledge an asset
-Standard First Aid & CPR training an asset
- Additional training will be provided
This is a union position. Wage and benefits will be based on qualifications and in accordance with the current CUPE Local 2740 contract. A typical work week will consist of 40 hours, including shift work, call outs, holidays and weekends.
