Description

The Solids Control Technician will provide customers with exceptional service while operating Peak Energy Services/Clean Harbors equipment.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: troubleshooting and repair of minor electrical issues, assisting with the rigging up and rigging out of solids control equipment and completing all required paperwork..

Key responsibilities:
    Repair, maintain, set up and rig down solids control equipment;
    Service and maintain solids control equipment on a weekly basis
    Sit in on client location on a rotating day or night shift as scheduled to ensure equipment runs efficiently;
    Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical issues as well as any other issues that arise;
    Complete all required paper work daily (safety documents, JSAs, work orders, service records and daily reports);
    Work in shop during slow periods to assist in the maintenance and repair of all Clean Harbors equipment;
    Assist the Solids Control Supervisor in promoting Clean Harbors in a new area;
    Repair, maintain, set up and rig down Clean Harbors on-site accommodations, generators and tank farm systems as required.

Key qualifications:

    High School Diploma plus Specialized Training
    1-3 years experience working in a shop, laborer or similar position
    Valid drivers license
    Regulatory tickets preferred
