Description

The Energy Service Technician I is responsible for ensuring that the highest quality of maintenance and service is provided to well site trailers, while addressing client service concerns relating to equipment within his/her scope of responsibility (production services, well sites, wastewater or remote accommodation).

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with clients representatives to discuss equipment operation and quality of service.
Service and repair equipment in accordance with documented Best Practices standards and procedures in a timely, professional and cost effective manner.
Complete all documentation required for the work being performed (JSA's, work orders, inspection checklists, time entry, log books (if required), inventory management, journey management).
Maintain assigned inventory as required.
Maintain and operate any assigned vehicle in accordance with Clean Harbors policies and procedures.
Report and coordinate service and maintenance activities with management.
Train and mentor co-workers to improve their levels of competence in maintaining and operating equipment within their scope of responsibility.
Participate in inspection of equipment with client representative and/or any regulatory agency representative (if required).
Liaise with sub-contracted vendor services needed for equipment maintenance (if required).
Ability to work long hours away from home in remote locations
Ability to work on-call on a rotating basis as scheduled
Key qualifications:

Knowledge and background related to the scope of work : well site trailers
Good mechanical/carpentry background with troubleshooting skills.
Trade or technical certification would be an asset.
Class 5 license with TDG and a clean 5-year drivers abstract.
H2S, Fall Protection, WHMIS and First Aid Certifications preferred.
