Bourgault Industries is a leading global manufacturer of technologically advanced seeding a tillage equipment. We are seeking a motivated, passionate HR professional to join our team in St. Brieux, SK.

The Recruitment Officer position is responsible for:
Providing Human Resources services within the company in the areas of recruitment, retention and immigration.  
Providing support to the HR Leader with strategic planning, administration, projects and the development of policies and procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as the day-to-day contact for HR issues and questions, both within the company and with external agencies
Manage Bourgaults recruitment needs, including job advertising, selection, tracking and reporting
Schedule and facilitate interviews and conduct pre-employment tests
Make job offers and assist with new employee onboarding
Coordinate Bourgaults international recruitment
Represent Bourgault at career fairs
Coordinate retention-related activities, including employee survey, exit interviews, and reporting turnover metrics
Assist with leadership development and training as needed
Create and update HR policies and procedures as required

QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree or diploma in Business or Human Resources is a strong asset.
Experience in HR administration and recruitment
Experience with HR in a manufacturing environment is a strong asset.
Working knowledge of relevant recruitment & retention practices, Labour Standards, Health & Safety, and benefits programs
Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills are essential
Effective organizational and time-management abilities
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently and as part of a team

* This is a temporary position from approximately November 2014 to December 2015.
