Reports To: Operations Supervisor TRS Division
Overview: The Arborist Foreman is an integral part of the organization, responsible for delivering a variety of tree services according to the detailed list of responsibilities outlined below.
The successful Arborist Foreman will also be highly efficient & productive on a daily basis in order to reduce cost & optimize profitability.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Provide caring & professional customer service at all times
2. Delivery of the following pruning services:
3. Delivery of the following removal services:
4. Delivery of other tree services:
5. Increase the knowledge of your support staff
Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Develop & maintain positive relationships within the organization
2. Help with various projects specific to the TRS Division as well as projects specific to other divisions when required
Required Skills
1. A minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a capacity similar in nature to this position.
2. Climb trees of all sizes & difficulties
3. Operate boom efficiently to service trees of all sizes
4. Prune various species of trees to ISA standards
5. Good organizational skills.
6. Good written & verbal communication skills in the English language.
7. Ability to be insured by our commercial insurance carrier as a driver.
Required Certificates
1. 3-A License, G-License
2. ISA Certification
3. Class 5 Drivers license
Preferred Certificates
1. 1-A License
2. Skid Steer ticket
3. Payloader in-house certification
Goals:
1. Achieve the following goals for delivery of services. Key metrics:
Work 50 hour weeks including some weekends
Perform out of town trips to serve customers in these markets
2. Achieve the following goals for sales of additional services. Key metrics:
Upsell various services while on site
Promote other divisions/ services of Sawyers
