The Position
MNPs Regina office is currently looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to fill in a permanent role for our Commercial/Ag Group. Duties in this role include:
Filing of corporate tax returns, T4/T5 statements, T3 trust returns and compiling financial statements and client packages
Proofreading and producing a variety of documents including proposals
Typing and mailing outgoing client correspondence, including inter-office correspondence and documentation to Canada Revenue Agency
Calendar management, including scheduling appointments and meetings
Compiling information for special projects
Filing system requirements
Assisting all team members as requested and required
Providing reception relief when necessary (i.e. answering and directing all incoming calls, greet clients and process incoming and outgoing couriers)
The Candidate
MNP is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic with the following knowledge and skills;
Exceptional customer service, time management and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail and strong proof-reading skills
Able to work independently and in a team oriented environment
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline driven professional environment
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Possesses Intermediate to Advanced computer skills (particularly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel);
Minimum 3 - 5 years office experience;
Post secondary education in an office administration program would be an asset;
Experience working in a professional services firm; and/or general accounting and/or knowledge of Agriculture programs (will be considered an asset).
