Boffins Restaurant is a fine dining establishment located at Innovation Place and is currently accepting applications for two full-time Day Servers.
Servers are responsible for greeting patrons, taking food and drink orders, accepting and processing payments, event set up and tear down, and any other duties as assigned.
Previous serving experience is required along with an ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Position benefits include employer-paid parking and access to fitness facility on-site.
Food and Beverage Serving Skills
- Serve food and beverages, general plate service
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
Wine and Stewarding/Serving Skills
- Present, open, pour and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware
Additional Skills
- Set tables
- Replace linen
- Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
- Customer service oriented
- Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
Work Setting
