Responsibilities:
Interacts with visiting researchers (users), staff, contractors and visitors in a friendly and professional manner while facilitating their registration, training, and issuing of access badges and dosimeters
Responds to inquiries (verbally and in writing) and determines which ones to refer to appropriate individuals
Enters data using various software programs, assists with the tracking and reporting of various statistics, and drafts reports
Participates in the testing of new software and provides recommendations for process improvements in order to streamline administrative activities
Assists with the organization of meetings, workshops, and special events; attends meetings and takes minutes when required
Updates the User Services pages on the CLS website
Provides support during the proposal submission and peer review process
Assists with the scheduling, generation and reporting of Experimental Permits
Maintains a filing system for documents, records and reports
Provides coverage for other administrative staff throughout the CLS when required
