Xtreme Mining & Demolition (XMD) is an underground mining company based in Saskatoon, SK.  Providing labour as well as demolition services throughout mines in Saskatchewan, XMD has developed a reputation for excellence that has earned the company contracts with some of the most prominent mining projects in the country.  Striving to exceed client expectations in a safe and professional manner is the core value of XMD, and they are currently seeking Heavy Duty Technicians that shares this value, to join their team.  The successful applicant will be eligible to participate in a performance and safety bonus as well as enrollment in a comprehensive benefits package that includes extended health, dental, vision care, life and disability.  If you have 3-5 years experience as a Heavy Duty Technician and the following skills, XMD wants to hear from you!
Job Duties and Employment Requirements:
    Repair, troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain mobile heavy-duty mining equipment
    Rebuilding diesel and electric engines
    Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment
    Installing and programming electrical over hydraulic valve banks to a wireless remote control
    Conduct routine checks on equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
    Test repaired equipment for proper performance
    Installing and programming a personal laptop computer (PCL) on the mining equipment for controlling functions
    Ability to work independently with limited supervision, as well as in a team
    Good written and verbal communication
    Pre-employment drug screen and alcohol test
