David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit an Industrial Sales Representative based in Saskatoon.
The Sales Representative role is responsible for managing relationships within the organization's key accounts, and increasing revenue by strategically identifying and developing through strategic identification and development of new accounts.
Candidates must be a proven self-starter and should be able to demonstrate a high level of business and entrepreneurial qualities, which will supplement their already high level of interpersonal skills.
The Role:
Develop new business/sales opportunities through cold calling and territory prospecting
Utilize a consultative sales approach to identify and define customer requirements and present appropriate solution
Act as a liaison between the company and the customer
Present the features and benefits of the company's product and services through proven sales strategies
Prepare and maintain territory-marketing plans
Meet minimum performance standards and sales objectives
Travel by car to account base
The Ideal Candidate:
University or college degree/diploma is an asset,
Minimum of 1-2 years sales experience, preferably within an industrial environment
Proven self-starter who demonstrates a high level of business and entrepreneurial qualities, which supplements your charismatic interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
