Lac La Ronge Indian Band Health Services Department is now inviting applications for (1) one Permanent Full Time, Mental Health Therapist to work in the community of La Ronge.  This position will report to the Prevention & Recovery Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing programs, documenting progress of all activities, conducting workshops and developing annual work plans.

Duties:
>Being a member of a multi-disciplinary team;
>Provide assessment of clients;
>Provide individual, group and family counseling;
>Assist in crisis intervention planning for all communities under LLRIBHS;
>Deliver in-service programming in LLRIB schools and communities;
>Organize group wellness workshops;
>Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or designate;

Qualifications:
>Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Bachelor of Education with a Major in Psychology;
>Ability to counsel children, youth and adults;
>Ability to work within multidisciplinary team;
>Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
>Ability to travel to outlying LLRIB communities
>Must have a valid class 5 driver's license;
>Ability to speak/understand Cree is an asset;
>Security Clearance: Current Criminal Record Clearance/Child Abuse Record Check and Driver?s Abstract required upon hire;

Salary/Wage:     $ 58,576.00 to $ 69,943.00 (depending on education & experience)
