Description

The Regina Open Door Society (RODS) and the Regina Regional Intersectoral Committee (RRIC) are seeking a qualified individual/consultant to staff a new full-time term position (currently funded to March 31, 2016) of Regina Region Local Immigration Partnership (RRLIP) -Project Manager.  The ideal start date for this position is Monday, September 15, 2014.

The RRLIP (Regina Region Local Immigration Partnership) Project Manager/Consultant (RRLIP PM) is responsible for reporting directly to the RRIC-RRLIP Executive Committee, which oversees the RRLIP Partnership Council; a sub-committee of the Regina Regional Intersectoral Committee (RRIC).  The RRLIP PM will hire and supervise a support position.

The RRLIP PM must be an experienced human services project manager/consultant with proven success in facilitating similar community development type projects and achieving the prescribed outcomes and deliverables. The ideal candidate will have experience with federal government Contribution Agreements (CA) in order to ensure the successful implementation, control and evaluation of the project as per the terms of the CA.

The RRLIP PM is responsible for creating a diverse Partnership Council and facilitating cooperation between the various community stakeholders who play a role in settlement, integration and immigration services for newcomers to Regina and region. The PM facilitates the implementation of the project activities and encourages a cultural shift to aid Regina in becoming a more welcoming community. This will be accomplished by working with the RRLIP Partnership Council, to create a better understanding of the benefits of attracting and retaining newcomers.

Working Conditions
-Regular hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a one hour lunch and every second Friday off. Some flexibility may be required to meet project outputs, targets and outcomes.
