Description

Presently, WFT- Wellhead  based in Estevan, SK is recruiting for:wellhead Service Technician.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for the Assembly, installation and repair of wellhead equipment both in a shop and outdoor environment. Work is outdoors and can be physically demanding and in all types of weather conditions.
-Required travel to well site locations and assists in servicing/ troubleshooting performance problems associated with the product line.
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and ability to interact with customers as required relating to servicing of equipment.
- Willing to work on applicable oilfield equipment in the Southern Saskatchewan region.
-Safely operate Weatherford company vehicles in compliance with company policy, external customer requirements and Government regulations.
-Demonstrated ability to safely operate required equipment associated with position.
-Compliance with all Weatherford safety regulations and company policies.

Prepared to work overtime hours, as workload requires.
We are seeking applicants who bring the following qualifications:
Oilfield and/or oilfield maintenance background is a must
Prior Wellhead experience considered an asset
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Valid class 5 operators license with clean driver abstract
Capability of working overtime
Demonstrated and effective problem solver
Quality first attitude
Ability to follow set work instructions both from binder and computer
Familiarity with work process & ability to anticipate the next step
Safety minded individual with willingness & commitment to receiving both required & ongoing mandatory safety training as a condition of employment
Attention to detail
Being able to work as part of a team in a team enviornment
Grade 12 (or equivalent)
Successful completion of drug & alcohol test
