Description

Adecco, the global leader in human resource solutions, is currently recruiting for a Business Developer for our client in Saskatoon,SK.With over 40 years in the heating and refrigeration industry our client is ideally looking for someone who can build and cultivate new relationships and partnership opportunities within their assigned territory. In the role you will oversee all aspects of the sales process within the market. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience of selling and developing new business and a post secondary education in business, marketing, economics or a related field.

Responsibilities for the Territory Sales Representative will include;
- Prepare reports and proposals for clients
- Generate meetings with prospective clients
- Identify opportunities for repair, replacement or modification of existing equipment
- Develop a network of COIs (centers of influence) to include developers, owners, owners responsibilities, architects, engineers and other professional relationships to create business opportunities
- Negotiate and communicate business issues to a variety of audiences
- Oversee all aspects of the sales process within the market, including development of opportunity specific sales strategy.

Qualifications Include;
- Working knowledge of at least one of the following areas: mechanical systems, refrigeration or HVAC
- Previous sales successes, specifically with new business development
-Geographical knowledge of the Saskatoon territory
- Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to successfully expand new business and grow existing business within a vertical market
- Ability to utilize weekly sales planning tools and programs to plan and schedule time for prospecting, qualifying calls, sales proposals and follow up calls
