Conduct needs assessment of local families with young children in the Duck Lake/Rosthern area,
Liaison with the Saskatoon Health Region, town offices, social services, local schools and the Program Managers/Directors of the Beardys & Okemasis First Nation to formalize partnerships,
Implement and facilitate educational and recreational activities,
Research grants and write proposals to a variety of funding agencies,
Supervise children attending programs and promote safety and respect amongst participants,
Participate in community events as required (this may include occasional evenings or weekends),
Coordinate day to day operations,
Maintain appropriate records, complete monthly and year-end reports and evaluations for the stakeholders and managing partner,
Perform other tasks assigned by management.
CPIC (Criminal Record Check), DCRE (Vulnerability Sector Check); available at any RCMP detachment. Letter of request for DCRE may be requested for pick up at Willow Cree Health Station.
