Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics
Interest in vehicles and mechanical systems
Experience with high power electronics
Knowledgeable in current battery and electric motor technologies
Zuken E3 Wireworks experience an asset
Eligible to work as an EIT in Canada
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform research on current and future battery technologies
Design and implement procedures for testing batteries
Devise methods for quickly and properly balancing batteries
Qualify battery quality and develop metrics for comparison
Create battery charger specifications
Perform basic routing of electric components
Accurately predict time to complete given tasks
Review electric motor specifications
