Strike Energy - Area Office Administrator  North Battleford, SK


Summary
An area office administrator provides administrative support in a Strike field office.  An administrator is approachable, well-organized, and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities
    Organize tickets by date for payroll entry; checking for correct project and/or overhead coding.
    Enter worker hours and check to ensure data is correct.
    Check complete pay period data to confirm overtime allocation is correct.
    Prepare pay packages for workers.
    Submit complete sign-on packages for payroll set up.
    Prepare invoices and attachments for area manager's review.
    Send invoices to customers according to their billing requirements.
    Code and file purchase orders after payment of supplier invoice.
    Date stamp and match invoices to open purchase orders.
    Identify discrepancies for area manager review.
    Create final accrual.
    Code, copy, and file invoices from each A/P session.
    Enter and post all transactions according to corporate schedule.
    As requested, prepare and/or proofread written communications.
    Schedule and arrange meetings and travel when required.
    Maintain and regularly distribute area office phone lists.
    Assist with other district overflowmay require travel.
    Prepare and proofread documentation such as reports, schedules, correspondence, action lists, manuals, etc, if required.


Qualifications
    Office administration or accounting diploma or bachelors degree (i.e. administration, accounting, commerce) is preferred.
    A minimum of three years administrative experience in the oilfield construction and services industry.
    Professional and personable
    Strong customer service orientation
    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    Computer literate; easily learns new software applications
    Excellent organizational and time management skills
    Capable of working independently with minimal direction
    Possesses an eye for detail
