Job responsibilities will include:
- creating production drawings and/or technical specifications for new and existing product lines.
- assist with the coordination of product certification with agencies such as CSA or TUV.
- work closely with Design engineers with design of new products or changes to existing product lines.
- prepare and assist with implementation of engineering changes.
- assist Production management team with the smooth introduction of new products into the manufacturing process. This would include work instructions, jig design, etc..
- must have good working understanding of SolidWorks software.
- must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- should be a self starter, team player and have excellent communication and presentation skills.
