The Administrative Support will provide administrative support to the Land & Economic Development Department and will perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for project management and/ or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the project.
Job Summary: Assist managers with major planning and master-planning assignments as required.
Assist with correspondence and reports.
Handle administrative tasks including compiling land and planning reports and information.
Assist project leads and staff in collecting and preparing data for various planning projects and in completing specific research assignments.
Conducts basic office functions as needed, such as data entry, file management, and customer service.
Display Excellent personal qualities and interpersonal skills.
Take initiative in building relationships with internal and external customers.
Complete research, studies, activities, and projects in a timely manner.
Qualities: Ability to work in a Diverse First Nations context and enviroment.
Solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiply tasks simultaneously, often working under deadline.
Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software.
Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping.
