THE REGISTERED NURSE/REGISTERED PSYCHIATRIC NURSE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENCOURAGING THE GROWTH OF THE HUMAN HABITAT BY GUIDING AND COACHING STAFF IN KEEPING WITH THE MISSION OF SHERBROOKE, THE PRINCIPLES OF CARE, CARE 2000 PRINCIPLES AND THE PRINCIPLES OF THE EDEN ALTERNATIVETM. THE REGISTERED NURSE/REGISTERED PSYCHIATRIC NURSE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSESSMENT, PLANNING, IMPLEMENTING, DIRECTING, COMMUNICATING, COORDINATING AND EVALUATING CARE AND STRATEGIES FOR IMPROVING QUALITY OF LIFE.
NOTE: This is a Provincial Posting and is open to all SUN members within the bargaining unit as per Articles 27.02 and 27.05 of the SUN Collective Bargaining Agreement. First preference will be given to employees of the Saskatoon Health Region and its affiliated agencies.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA) or Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
It will be desirable if you possess a knowledge of the principles, methods and techniques involved in performing nursing services relating to the care of patients on the Third Floor. This knowledge is commonly obtained through previous
experience in long-term nursing.
