Adecco is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager in Regina, SK to start immediately. In this position you will be responsible for overseeing all day to day operations of the warehouse including; providing leadership, inventory management, and coaching and mentoring of all warehouse employees. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution centre environment and have strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities for the Warehouse Manager will include;
- Oversee the day to day operations within the warehouse; prioritizing shipments, flow of paperwork, delegation of tasks
- Liaise with purchasing department to maintain stock and inventory levels
- Ensure health and safety is adhered to by all staff members and address and resolve any concerns
- Ensure programs and policies are carried out and followed by all staff members appropriately
- Lead, coach and mentor employees to achieve individual and team success
- Conduct employee reviews and recommend discipline action when required
- Participate in hiring, training and termination of employees
- Determine deadlines and develop appropriate assignments for team members
Qualifications Include;
- Previous experience in a supervisory role; preferably in a warehouse or distribution centre environment
- Strong leadership skill, with the ability to motive others
- Proven interpersonal skills, ability to create credibility and build strong relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with process flow change
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word
- Forklift certification an asset
