We are recruiting a physically fit, safety minded On-Site Construction Manager, based in Saskatchewan and is willing to work throughout Canada. This position is a full-time permanent position with a varying schedule. You will work up to 3 weeks out of town and overtime when necessary. Reporting to the VP, Construction, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical advice and assistance to both subcontractors and Norseman crews. As a professional representative of our Company and leader, you will provide direction, support and training to crews.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Manage construction projects from conception to completion, maximizing resources and minimizing costs and ensuring projects meet or exceed customer expectations
Prepare and submit accurate construction project budget estimates when required
Plan and prepare construction schedules, establish milestones and monitor project progress
Direct the purchase of building materials and the activities of subcontractors and Norseman construction crews
Supervise and motivate staff, and train future on-site managers
Write safe work procedures specific to site and project and ensure safety legislations are adhered to

High School diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience
Experience as a construction supervisor or field superintendent
1+ year of experience installing steel framed, fabric covered buildings will be preferable
Valid drivers license and an acceptable drivers abstract are required
