Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, this position is responsible for the safe operation of the extraction plant and meal pelleting processes, including all ancillary equipment. Additional responsibilities include monitoring all process equipment for the purposes of lubrication and maintenance requirements, coordinating daily activities with other departments, participating in process improvement initiatives as well as ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety, Food Safety, Legislative and Corporate requirements.
The ideal candidate must have grade 12 or equivalent, a mechanical aptitude and excellent written, documentation and verbal communications skills. Experience in a Manufacturing Plant environment would be considered an asset and candidates must be willing to work a rotating shift schedule.
