We are actively recruiting for a physically fit, safety minded Construction Building Erector, who will be based in Saskatchewan and is willing to work throughout Canada. This position is a full-time permanent position and your schedule will vary. You will be required to work up to 3 weeks out of town and work overtime when necessary. Reporting directly to the Construction Crew Leader and working with the team, you will erect steel trusses to form the interior skeleton of a building and install the appropriate covers of a building. You will be required to use lifts, air powered tools and other safety apparatuses.
Responsibilities:
Erect structural pre-cast concrete components for buildings, foundations, containment walls
Assemble and erect prefabricated metal structures
Read blueprints and specifications to lay out work
Unload and position steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
Signal crane operator to position steel units according to blueprints
Align and bolt steel units in place
Lay out and/or reconcile foundation design and/or anchor bolt layout
Dismantle structures and equipment when required

Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED
Good English language skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably in the steel framed, fabric covered building industry
Knowledge to safely operate various power and/or manual hand tools is required
Willing to train on lift equipment operation
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driver's abstract are required
Flexibility to travel and work on rotation
