Permanent Full Time Home Care Manager
With Sunrise Home Care in Langenburg & Esterhazy, SK
Job Summary:
The Home Care Manager, under the general direction of the Director of Home Care, is responsible for the overall management of Home Care Program within the geographic assessment area assigned.  
As a team leader the Home Care Manager will direct the Home Care staff in the most cost-effective manner to deliver the following programs: nursing care, personal care, home management services, meals on wheels, lifeline and wellness services.  The Home Care Manager is also accountable for all in office staff as well as supervising, evaluating and directing field staff in clients homes.  Other managerial functions will include but may not be limited to, case management, assessing client needs, hospital discharge planning, developing and coordinating care plans as well as being the clients advocate, overseeing scheduling, billing and payroll functions.

Qualifications/Experience:
    Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
    Registered, or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association
    Experience in Home Care
    Experience in administrative or supervisory capacity an asset
    A suitable combination of training and experience may be considered
    Excellent leadership, mentoring, organizational, and communication skills
    Ability to function as a team member and to be proactive and creative in decision making in the absence of direct supervision
    Advanced computer skills

Hours of Work:
    As per full-time rotation (must be willing to take call as part of responsibilities)
