Description

Duties:
The Equipment Operator position is responsible for a variety of road and snow maintenance duties.  The Equipment Operator safely and efficiently operates and performs maintenance checks and inspections on all assigned equipment.  In addition, the operator maintains the necessary records for the position.  This position requires on-call, shift and weekend work.  Some heavy lifting and manual labour is required, along with other duties as assigned.  The City of Lloydminster requires all employees to be active members in our Safety Management System.

Qualifications:
Must possess, as a minimum, a Class 3 Vehicle Operator's License, registered in either Alberta or Saskatchewan with Air Endorsement, and a clean driving record.  Must be in good physical condition.  Must be able to satisfactorily operate standard and automatic single and tandem axle trucks, in accordance with recognized procedures.
