Description

JNE Welding has been providing quality custom steel fabrications for the resource based industries for over 30 years, gaining a reputation of being a fabricator of choice. We proudly serve the mining, environmental, construction, oil sand and power generating sectors.  Our culture is based on safety, respect, and integrity and we provide a challenging, stable and rewarding work environment.  We are currently looking for a full-time Project Manager.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

-  Liaise between client and JNE to ensure their custom fabrication projects are completed to expectation while maintaining schedule and budget.
-  Liaise with JNE subcontractors involved in projects to ensure schedule and budget control.
-  Determine priorities and set schedules for project completion.  Monitor and adjust schedules to ensure project critical path is on track.
-  Define and sequence project activities and assist with estimating activity durations.
-  Distribute project information to stakeholders.
-  Identify, manage and mitigate project risks.
-  Identify improvements in production, policy and procedures within JNE.
-  Maintain positive and productive relationships with clients and team members.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

-  Steel Fabrication / Industry experience.
-  3+ yrs Project Management experience.
-  Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) including strong interpersonal skills and a
-  Good command of the English language.
-  Strong problem solving skills.
-  Strong coordination and organizational skills.
-  Ability to work in fast paced environment with multiple deadlines.
