We currently have an opening at our 2650 head Farrow-to-wean farms at Loreburn Sk. Experience not required, but an eagerness to learn is. This job requires some weekends, but with flexible scheduling to fit your schedule.
Duties include:
-General Animal care
-Pig movements
-Processing litters of piglets
-Pressure washing/sanitation
Position could be either full-time or part-time depending on the needs of the right applicant.
Essential Skills
- Oral communication
- Working with others
Type Of Livestock Specialization
- Swine
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Driver's licence
Additional Skills
- Maintain livestock performance records
Specific Skills
- Recognize and treat certain livestock health problems
- Perform general farm duties
