We are recruiting for a General Manager to help lead the credit union into the future. Leading Landis Credit Union means being part of a close team passionate about delivering a member focused approach and working together to deliver that experience. Landis Credit Union is an established organization with $20 million in assets located in west central Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Manager will use leadership abilities to coach, motivate and inspire the staff to enhance their professional skills to be current and responsive to member needs. You will manage the credit unions investments, its financial strength and viability; be responsible for strategic planning, compliance and internal controls and lead the credit union into the future by building a strong sales strategy to maximize growth.
Required Skills & Abilities
This person will possess a post-secondary education in the field of finance or business, have senior management experience and a knowledge of retail banking operations.
Demonstration of strong organization, marketing, and delegation skills, along with the ability to enhance a sales culture through team building is essential.
This individual will be committed and motivated to being a part of the community and surrounding area. Strong community relations is important for long term success.
Being that Landis is a strong agricultural based environment, experience in agricultural and commercial lending will be a definite asset.
