Business Development Specialist - Saskatoon,
Saskatchewan
The overall responsibility of the Business
Development Specialist is to maximize sales and
growth of multiple Adecco business units, namely
Adecco Staffing and Roevin Technical Recruitment,
through prioritized sales and marketing activities
in an assigned geographical area. This position
works under general supervision
Responsibilities for the Business Development
Specialist will include;
-Identifies and develops account prospects
utilizing telemarketing, direct mail and other
sales techniques to identify potential new
clients. Develops and conducts effective sales
presentations.
-Assists in the development and maintenance of the
Adecco brands through advertising and public
relations activities
-Services and continues to develop accounts
uncovered by personal sales efforts. Visits client
sites to maintain good relations, resolve
problems, introduce additional services, etc.
-Works closely with Branch Manager and/or Sales
Manager to identify new opportunities for sales
growth.
-Maintains records of all client sales activities
and follow-up requirements by utilizing Adecco
office technology
-Participates in branch operations activities to
gain knowledge in the areas of interviewing,
database management, placement skill marketing,
etc.
-Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
-Completion of post-secondary education in related
field or years of equivalent experience
demonstrating progressive responsibility
-Three (3) years working experience in a
sales/customer service role, preferably in the
service industry.
-Working knowledge of labour and employment laws.
-Proficient in PC software packages, such as
Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and e-mail
applications
