Description

Reception responsibilities: Computer literate (Accuro system, etc.)
and multi-line phone experience/skills.  Welcomes patients and
visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the
telephone in a caring, professional, upbeat and timely manner.
Optimizes patients' satisfaction. Treatment room
utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
Keeps patient appointments on schedule. Comfort patients by
anticipating patients anxieties and answering patient's questions.
Maintaining the reception and waiting room areas. Maintains patient's records by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information.
Perform all clerical duties. Build and maintain positive relationships
with all patients and team members. Maintains operations by
following policies and procedures. Contributes to team efforts by
accomplishing related results as needed. Must work together
successfully in a team setting. Must be able to learn quickly, know
how to multi-task while being an effective time manager. Must take
ownership in your role and responsibilities. Act as liaison between
patients and doctors.
Doctor assistant responsibilities: Prepare physician exam rooms for
patients, and prepare patients for physicals, etc.
Escort patients to designated exam rooms. Chaperone physicians
when needed, and triage patients. Always taking initiative when
there is down time, take advantage of an     opportunity to clean,
stock, organize, etc. Make positive suggestions, and take     
advantage of new opportunities.
