Competencies:
(1) Excellent knowledge of computer systems including Word, VIP, CARM, Oracle, ETS, Excel, Publisher & Access and the ability to enter, edit and retrieve information.
(2) Good knowledge of policies and procedures of the Regina Police Service relating to personnel, recruiting and promotion programs.
(3 Reception: The ability to deal with incoming calls and persons in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
(4) Typing: Ability: 50-60 w.p.m.
(5) Filing: The ability to retain and retrieve documents in an easy, efficient manner.
(6) The ability to use appropriate sentence structure, grammar, spelling and punctuation in business communication.
(9) Organization: The ability to coordinate work schedules and time for maximum efficiency and productivity.
Term: The term of this position will be until December 31, 2014 with a possible extension.
