SUMMARY
The Food Services Manager manages answers to the Food and Beverage Manager in overseeing all aspects of the food outlets. This will involve establishing and maintaining service standards, maintaining positive working conditions and overseeing a motivated and fully equipped food and beverage team, including food service personnel and supervisors. The Food Services Manager will contribute to maintain the operations to meet established revenue and labour cost targets and achieve high standards in customer satisfaction. The Food Services Manager will be the team leader of all restaurant personnel and will demonstrate a professional and positive work ethic to other employees on property at all times.
SERVICE OPERATIONS
* Achieve customer satisfaction by maintaining service standards and communicating feedback on food standards to the kitchen in a respectful manner
* Works with a team of in-scope supervisors and food service personnel to respect the contribution of each team member and maintain a positive working environment
* Oversee banquet events as directed by the Food and Beverage Manager
* Contributes to budget monitoring progress throughout the year
* Direct food service operations according to Temple Gardens standards
* Performing regular liquor and operating stock inventory
REQUIREMENTS
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience of progressive F&B management experience in a resort OR hotel
* Smart Serve Certification
* Strong supervisory skills
* Knowledge of fine dining standards
* Knowledge of MS Office
* The ability to work well under pressure and be detail oriented.
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to maintain composure and objectivity
