Summer Student JobDo you like to golf? Are you a High School, University Student or Teacher looking for a few weeks of summer employment? Or, are you a Snowbird who would love to take up golfing?
Join our team today! The Royal Regina Golf Course is a busy, well maintained, 20 hole golf course. Our Maintenance Team takes great pride in delivering a golf course with an exceptional quality of play to its members and guests. We are looking for 3 additional motivated, physically capable people to be part of our full time/seasonal our Landscape Construction Crew because we've added more projects to our summer construction plans. We will provide training for those who are a good fit for our team.
The Landscape Construction Crews duties include start to finish completion of projects such as building tee boxes, adding irrigation, installing drainage to a fairway, hauling fill, sodding,digging holes and building water hazards.
Mandatory requirements:
- Must be a morning person who enjoys watching the sun rise at work and the benefit of work-free afternoons in the summer
- Must have own transportation to work
- Must have proof of a valid 5A drivers license
Experience is not required, but preference will be given to candidates who:
- golf or have knowledge of how the game is played
- can operate small or large landscape equipment (ex. lawn mower, rototiller, aerator, Skid Steer, etc.)
- have landscaping , horticultural, arboricultural or construction experience
- have experience farming or operating farm machinery
- can drive a vehicle with a manual transmission
- are mechanically inclined
- are athletic or have played an individual or team sport
- have an interest in gardening
