invites applications for a
PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT
The Municipality is seeking an individual to assume overall responsibility of the Public Works Department. Duties include dealing with all departmental staffing matters, works program planning, budgeting and scheduling, administrative/reporting functions, the safe and efficient operation of municipal equipment and directing a crew engaged in the reconstruction, construction, resurfacing, general maintenance, snow ploughing and sanding of roadways
Successful Applicants will demonstrate natural leadership abilities, will have superior communication, organizational, and public relations skills, and would be up to new challenges. Previous management/supervision experience, basic computer knowledge and heavy construction experience will be considered definite assets
The expected salary scale for the position is $63,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year and will be based on proven experience.
