Description

The Humboldt & District Chamber of Commerce is a member based non-profit organization representing businesses and organizations within the Humboldt Region.

We are currently seeking a full-time (35 hours / week)Administrative Assistant to assist the Executive Director with office duties and other related tasks.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a professional attitude and appearance.  You must also be able to deal with the public, customers and officials as you are representing the Humboldt & Region business community.  Ability to multitask is essential.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher, QuickBooks and internet are essential.  He or she must have the ability to work independently and in a team setting and be able to work occasional evenings/weekends as required.  Office hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday thru Friday with the exception of occasional events.
