Description

The Kaizen Promotion Office Certification and Training Lead, is responsible for leading the development and refinement of the Kaizen education and certification program for the Agency. The position serves as the lead for coordination, delivery, maintenance, and document control in relation to Lean Leader Certification, Kaizen Promotion Office (KPO) Certification, Kaizen Basics, the North American Tour, and Training within Industry (TWI). The position acts as a liaison and coach for Kaizen capacity building between the Kaizen Promotion Office and the organizations leaders, and also provides coordination and leadership for the Agencys Kaizen Internship Program. The role also performs various other KPO duties in coordinating, supporting, and ensuring the rigorous application of all Lean concepts, tools and methodologies throughout the Agency to support the achievement of organizational goals and implementation of the Saskatchewan Healthcare Management System. The position greatly influences the success of organization-wide process improvement activities and the attainment of organizational goals through Kaizen. This position is required to work collaboratively with all leaders, physicians, and staff within the Agency and must partner with the Ministry of Health and regional KPOs across the province to ensure Kaizen standards are implemented and maintained. There is an expectation of a three year commitment to participate in the KPO.

Preference will be give to individuals that have successfully completed the Module Marathon component of the Lean Leader Certification (LLC) program and willingness to obtain certification as a Kaizen Leader. Must have strong commitment to and passion for the quality improvement philosophy and be willing to learn and apply the theory, methodologies, and tools of the Saskatchewan Healthcare Management System.
