Description

Boyd Excavating Ltd is currently looking to expand our team. We are looking for Class 1A Truck Drivers for Tandem Trucks, and Semi Tractors with end dump trailer units. The following are job duties expected of the successful applicant:
    Operate and drive primarily Tandem Trucks and Semi Tractors with end dump trailer units
    Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
    Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures as set out by Boyd Excavating
    Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices such as 2-way radios and cell phones
    May perform emergency roadside repairs
    May require weekend work and shift work
    Conduct all duties with courtesy, safety and caution
    All other duties as required
The successful applicant will have the following qualifications:
    Valid Class 1A license
    Minimum 2 years of experience in this field of work
    Clean driver`s abstract
    Valid Saskatchewan Construction Orientation Training certificate.
    Interpersonal skills
    Customer Service skills
    Excellent problem solving skills
    Ability to work independently, but also as a team
    Conduct themselves in a professional manner
    Able to pass a Drug Test
