The Lac La Ronge Indian Band, Health Services Department is now inviting applications for 1 Permanent full-time Special Care Coordinator who demonstrates excellence in leadership, management, planning, program implementation and evaluation. The position reports to the Community Services Manager and is accountable for quality assurance, risk management, implementation of the strategic priorities, employee and client safety.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education or training in related Health Care Field, preferred degree or Diploma in Special Care/Assisted Living.
- 3 to 5 years Supervisory/management experience.
- Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
- Excellent management, leadership and decision making skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize responsibilities.
- Knowledge in Health to design, develop and ensure the effective program delivery.
- Conflict resolution and effective problem solving skills.
- Ability to develop and enhance service delivery models.
- Ability to develop proposals, reports, and track statistical information.
- Actively involved in development of 5 year community health plan, strategic plan and evaluation.
- Development of annual budgets and work plans.
- Ability to speak Cree an asset.
