Parkland College invites applications for Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) Instructors at our Kamsack campus. These part-time term positions will operate 2 days per week for 6 hours per day.

CCA Instructors are primarily responsible for instructing adults working to train as Home Care Assistants (Home Care / Special Care Aide) in integrated facilities, personal care homes and hospital settings. Course curriculum is directed by SIAST. The instructor must evaluate and record student progress, teach, coach and supervise students in classroom and clinical settings.

Qualifications:

Education- Degree in Nursing or Education, Registered Nurse certification and experience in adult education in the health field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience- Two years recent and relevant experience in gerontology, home care, and special care education.

Applicants must meet SIAST accreditation requirements.
