Description

Parkland College invites applications for a Facilitator of our EDGE learning service centre at our Yorkton campus. This part-time term position will operate 3 days per week for 6.5 hours per day.

This position is primarily responsible for facilitating, coordinating and administering access to student supports through a one stop learning service centre; developing, delivering and facilitating student workshops designed to enhance student skill level; and conducting or coordinating/scheduling tutorials.

Qualifications:

Education- a two-year post-secondary diploma or equivalent in Human or Social Services or Behavioral Sciences field. This education would typically provide knowledge in group facilitation, adult education methodology, and student supports.

Experience- two years related experience. This experience would typically provide skills required to facilitate skill enhancing workshops, to effectively liaise with participants and to develop needs based approaches to workshop development and delivery.
