Its not every day we hire for a Pub Server position here at The Knotted Thistle.

We are looking for a good ambassador to represent the Knotted Thistle pub as a server. You dont have to have a ton of experience with serving but 1 year would be beneficial. With that being said its not necessary  we have some pretty good people here that will teach you how to do the job. You do however need to be outgoing, confident,Flexible, very friendly, organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks when needed.

The best person Ive ever hired for this position (who has since been promoted) came to work with us with no experience in a pub. If you have experience in this area  or in a related industry  youve likely learned the basics of the food & beverage industry and a bit about customer service, too. This is a great combination and it probably means you have what it takes to do this job.

The Knotted Thistle has a fun working atmosphere. The tips are excellent, the shifts are flexible, with our busiest times being evenings and weekends.
