Description

Oxford Learning Saskatoon is looking to hire a creative, enthusiastic and energetic team player that enjoys working with preschoolers aged 3-6 years.

The Little Reader Program is a half-day early literacy program, which develops cognitive skills and fosters a love for learning. Oxford Learnings enriched academic curriculum includes reading, writing, math, music as well as weekly science, French and craft activities. We make learning FUN! Children work in small groups and enjoy a balance of academics and play in a structured environment. Our program offers an enriched academic curriculum to create a solid foundation for learning.

Our Little Reader Instructors:
    Build intrinsic motivation in our students and make it matter.
    Establish a fun learning environment.
    Maintain a positive, enthusiastic, can-do attitude!

We require:
    Early Childhood Education diploma
    First Aid Certification and Criminal Record Check
    Strong Working Knowledge of the Daycare Nurseries Act
    An individual who is professional, creative and eager to learn
    Experience working with children at the preschool level
    A commitment to the end of the 2014/2015 school year is also required to provide consistency to our students
There is also an option to do a split shift and come back in the evenings for teaching in our Beyond Tutoring program which takes place between the hours of 4 and 8pm.
    Mandarin would be an asset
