The College of Education at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications for four positions in the Department of Educational Administration to begin August 15, 2014; with teaching scheduled to begin in September.
We are seeking to fill four Assistant Professor level (term) positions to join a vibrant department with a responsibility for undergraduate and graduate programs. The Department of Educational Administration has recently initiated a process of curriculum and instructional renewal and maintains long-established partnerships with community agencies and cross-campus departments.
The Department of Educational Administration has large and flourishing Masters and PhD programs with growing focus on:
First Nations Educational Leadership,
Higher Education, and
Health Care and Public Sector Education.
The Department offers traditional undergraduate and graduate programming in the areas of:
Educational Policy, Governance, Finance, and Law,
Educational Research Methods,
School Improvement and School Effectiveness,
Instructional Leadership and the Principalship,
Rural, International, and Comparative Education, and
within the Indian Teacher Education Program (ITEP) and Saskatchewan Urban Native Teacher Education Program (SUNTEP), and in community-based cohorts.
Salary bands for this post are as follows: Assistant Professor - $86,844 $104,357; Associate Professor - $104,357 - $121,871 and Professor - $121,871 - $142,303.
