The Town of Saltcoats is seeking a self-motivated permanent part-time Community Caretaker. The position is responsible for general cleaning and maintenance duties at the Saltcoats & District Community Hall and the Town of Saltcoats Community Services Building.
A flexible schedule is available with hours of work fluctuating on a weekly basis based on facility rentals.
The successful applicant should possess:
- Grade XII
- Knowledge of cleaning routines and cleaning products
- Ability to work with others, including staff, volunteers, renters and the general public
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
